Science fiction is very tricky to write...stunning work, isn't it wonderful to be able to see what you imagine in your head :iconslugette: painted Eidra and Loki for me in an art trade and it was a true thrill...

Thank you!!

I've seen her Eidra and Loki painting--it's beautiful! I painted Loki for my daughter for Christmas, but it was my first ever digital portrait, so not nearly as refined. I'm hoping as I paint more I will improve.

She does lovely work...a super nice woman too, i'll tell you, if you've missed her, another one to check out who is incredible with digital painting is :iconlindamarieanson: She does some of the best Tom/Loki work i've ever seen...
I think if you have the inclination and the skill, things improve with practice...if you ever read some of my earlier work...like seven years ago...it's like night and day...not so much bad as it is less refined...keep painting, they say practice makes perfect

Ah yes. I'm certain I have some of her work in my Loki folder. Digital painting was really revived my creativity. I had become so depressed when painting in acrylics became too painful. When I realized I didn't have the same paint with digital painting I dove straight into it. I'm sure in time I will improve as I learn more and more. I'm planning two more Loki paintings--he makes for good practice as I refine my style. ;)

Well, if I can get him to my high standards I'll send you a message to let you know when the next Loki painting is up. ;)

This is looking so great!
My favourite segment of this picture is the part where the Menger-like structure melts into that smooth organic looking surface! Awwwwesome!

This is one hell of a scenery - I give you that. :o The leftmost part with the bright light and the contrasting structures ... it's overwhelming in both composition and detail. And is it just me or are both formations actually linked? Anyhow - great work!! And on the planet as well!

Thank you! Both formations are linked, a product of Mandelbulb 3D. It was exciting when I realized what it reminded me of and how I could use it. :D I'll look up what formulas were used. ;)
