The combination of the color and the scale-like effects made me think of the Greek God Poseidon for this mandala. Created in apophysis 7x.

This and "Power Source" are my favorites. :D The central parts give them a slight touch of realism thanks to the way you configured the illumination. :)

Thank you! Power Source was chosen as a DD under my old account. It tends to be the favorite but I'm happy you like this one too. I always thought Poseidon's Puzzle had a Mer-quality to it, if that makes sense. ;)

You know, now that I look at "Power Source" again ... a very faint memory of seeing it as a DD returned to me. :o I also changed accounts recently (been on dA for about 6 years though) - it really sucks to let go of the DDs. :( Still, it was a needed change.
