I love how these fractals lend themselves to science fiction. This, my second Mandelbulb 3D fractal, came about through a tutorial:

My fractal was suppose to look like the one pictured in the tutorial, but I got turned around. Still, I liked where it was going so I stuck with it and fiddled with the colors. I have so much to learn, but at least I'm having fun.

Wow, this is looking great! I love the color scheme and the shapes.
Really nice results from the tut. I always love when I do a tut and have something different as result. :D

You used both inside and outside renders right? :)

Inside and outside? I have no clue. I'm still learning! :D

Sorry Dear, didn't mean to confuse you. :D
The right "sphere" is sliced, so you can see it's inside. I wondered if it was achieved with in/outside render, but I guess you did not need inside render for it, because that sphere is not solid, not filled.
Anyway, never mind me. :) You'll get to know about it, really srry if I confused you.
Keep up with 3D fractals, I love these works of you too. ;)
